Peak Orthodontics provides palatal expanders to make space in your child’s mouth and help correct their bite. The expander appliance is non-removable, and works to gently widen the upper arch so that your child’s top and bottom teeth can come together correctly. As the expander works it will create a space between the upper front teeth. Don’t be alarmed! This means that everything is working. After your child has completed their expander treatment this space will close naturally over a period of several weeks.
