Gone are the days of having a “mouthful of metal” to gain a straighter smile! Whether you are a teenager who is conscious of your image at school or an adult who would prefer to maintain your professional appearance at work, clear braces are a great option.

Braces Example

Clear braces work upon the same basic principles as traditional metal braces; they are designed to gently and gradually adjust the positions of your teeth to give you a straighter, more beautiful smile. We are pleased to offer clear braces to help you more aesthetically achieve the straight, healthy smile you deserve.

Braces Example

Brackets

Brackets are the metal square that is directly bonded to the front surface of the tooth and look like two upright rectangles. While the top teeth will have clear brackets, the bottom teeth will still have traditional metal.

Why?

Clear braces are made from a material that is harder than the surface of your tooth. While we do use precautions to avoid hitting your

bottom brackets, if you were to hit brackets with your tooth, you are more likely to get chips and grooves! As the ultimate precaution, we only place metal brackets on the bottom teeth.

Wires

Wires are thin metal arches that slide through the center of the brackets and connect them to one another. Patients will move through a series of wires, from thin to thick.
